About the role
Adient is seeking a Production Coordinator to lead the production team and ensure smooth operation of the production lines, focusing on meeting production targets in a complex automotive manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor production performance, analyse trends and implement corrective actions.
- Plan and control production scheduling, raw material supply and delivery to maximise plant utilisation.
- Coordinate production methods to improve efficiency and achieve cost savings.
- Lead and support production team leaders and master builders.
- Maintain 5S activities, discipline on the shop floor and manage unionised workforce.
Required profile
- Diploma in Operations Management or related field.
- At least 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably automotive.
- Experience in staffing, training and workforce management.
- Ability to communicate effectively and promote positive employee relations.
