Project Officer – Faith for Every Child

About the role

The Project Officer will lead day‑to‑day implementation of the Faith for Every Child project, ensuring quality, timeliness and accountability across all activities. Working closely with churches, households and local authorities, the role supports spiritual nurture for children while building capacity within faith communities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on faith and development technical support to households and churches, including capacity‑building trainings and eco‑theology guidance.
• Facilitate sustainable spiritual nurture interventions for children, such as age‑appropriate discipleship programmes and Bible clubs.
• Conduct regular monitoring visits, collect and enter data into the MEAL system, and produce timely reports.
• Coordinate with local leaders, government structures and other stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation and community ownership.
• Lead logistical and administrative support for project assistants, including procurement and financial management in line with World Vision standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Education, Development Studies or related field; diploma in Project Management is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience integrating faith into development projects and managing NGO‑funded programmes.
• Strong self‑leadership, adaptability, honesty and high integrity.
• Committed Christian able to work across denominational differences.
• Fluent in Sesotho and English (written and oral).
