Chief of Party – Faith and Community Initiative

About the role

The Chief of Party (COP) will provide overall in‑country leadership for World Vision’s Faith and Community Initiative (FCI). Reporting to the National Director and working closely with the Global Management Team, the COP ensures high‑quality, timely, and compliant delivery of the FCI programme while fostering strong partnerships with the U.S. Embassy, host government, and faith‑based stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the FCI country team, manage the programme budget, and achieve project goals.
• Adapt global strategy to the local context, develop work plans, and set performance targets.
• Drive the transition of programme activities, health workers, facilities, and data systems to government ownership and domestic financing.
• Oversee integration of HIV, TB, maternal and child health, nutrition, and health‑system strengthening interventions.
• Collaborate with technical specialists to ensure programme quality and compliance with donor guidelines.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in leading large‑scale health or development programmes in low‑resource settings.
• Proven ability to work with government ministries, faith‑based organisations, and international donors.
• Strong strategic and adaptive management skills, with a commitment to efficiency and sustainability.
