DMEAL Officer – Faith for Every Child Project

About the role

The DMEAL Officer will provide technical oversight on project quality, design, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning for the Faith for Every Child Project in Lesotho. Working closely with Project Officers and the DMEAL Specialist, the officer ensures compliance with World Vision’s M&E system and supports data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage the Area Project system for tracking progress, evaluating impact and ensuring accountability to sponsors, registered children and partners.
• Design and maintain DMEAL frameworks, monitoring tools and performance dashboards aligned with project indicators and IPFs.
• Conduct baseline, Annual Impact Measurement and end‑of‑project evaluations, analyse quantitative and qualitative data, and disseminate results to stakeholders.
• Carry out regular field monitoring visits, data quality assessments and community feedback mechanisms to ensure fidelity of implementation.
• Manage routine data collection, consolidation and reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, including disaggregated data by gender, age, disability and other criteria.
• Ensure accountability by handling beneficiary feedback, developing action plans and supporting quarterly programme reviews.
• Support learning by facilitating reflection sessions, documenting theories of change and contributing to knowledge products and evidence initiatives.
• Coordinate preparation and submission of project reports (monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual, annual) into IMPAQ or other digital platforms.
• Facilitate capacity‑building trainings for staff and community members on M&E tools, data collection, analysis and reporting.
