Commercial Manager for Major Infrastructure Project

About the role

A dynamic Commercial Manager is sought to lead commercial operations on a major infrastructure project in Lesotho. This permanent position offers the chance to drive commercial excellence on a complex, large‑scale development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contracts and oversee cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead commercial negotiations and handle claims management.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure commercial objectives are met.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and mitigate commercial risks.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (minimum).
• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in the built environment or infrastructure sectors.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Commercial Manager on major infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, or equivalent).
• Proven expertise in contract management, cost control, and commercial negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of claims management and commercial risk mitigation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote or challenging project environment.
• Valid driver’s licence.
